There is a white thing growing on my eyeball

A white thing growing on the eyeball may be a palpebral fissure or a stye. It is not ruled out that a corneal ulcer is caused by long-term use of the eyes.

1. Pellagra: Clinically, it can be divided into benign conjunctival plaques or manifestations of eye inflammation. During the attack, it may cause plaques in the eyelid area, which can penetrate into the subepithelial tissue and contain yellow transparent elastic tissue. There may also be conjunctival congestion, obvious redness of the skin, and roughness of the surface, accompanied by local itching symptoms. It is mainly related to aging, and may also be caused by long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays.

2. Stye: An acute suppurative inflammation that occurs in the eyelid gland. Most of the time, it is caused by Staphylococcus infection. If you do not pay attention to the proper use of eye moxibustion and often rub your eyes with your hands, there will be a lot of bacteria on your hands, which may increase the chance of disease onset. It may cause obvious redness and swelling in patients, and may be accompanied by fever. After the local pus spots rupture, it will take about one to two days for them to gradually subside.

3. Corneal ulcer: Due to infection by Streptococcus pneumoniae or Staphylococcus aureus, or possibly Candida albicans or Aspergillus, the eye will have obvious photophobia and tearing, there may also be increased secretions and obvious swelling of the skin.
