How to treat Yang deficiency and fear of cold

Traditional Chinese Medicine is an important contribution of the Chinese nation to world medicine and can be regarded as a pearl of world medicine. Anyone with a little common sense knows that Chinese medicine emphasizes the balance of yin and yang and the treatment based on syndrome differentiation. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that once yin and yang are out of balance, the body will show abnormalities in one way or another and needs to be adjusted. For example, the person in front of me has yang deficiency and is afraid of cold. So, how should he regulate his body?

Elderly people with chronic heart failure, heart and kidney yang deficiency, and lower limb edema can prepare 3 grams of ginseng, 6 grams of ginger, and 1 egg. Chop ginseng and ginger, put them into a pot, add water and boil until 150 ml, remove the residue and when it boils, add egg white to the liquid, mix well and drink on an empty stomach. Ginseng greatly replenishes vitality, ginger warms the stomach and dispels cold, and egg white is sweet and can neutralize the heat of ginseng and ginger, which is very helpful in alleviating the condition.

For chronic heart failure complicated by palpitations, shortness of breath, fatigue and weakness, you can prepare 3 grams of ginseng, 15 grams of stir-fried Chinese jujube kernels, 9 grams of poria, and 3 grams of tangerine peel. Either boil them into soup and drink it instead of tea, or brew them with boiling water and drink it instead of tea. It is very helpful in relieving symptoms. If patients with chronic heart failure have severe symptoms of cold limbs while experiencing palpitations, shortness of breath, fatigue and weakness, you can prepare 6 grams each of cinnamon twig and dried ginger, 3 grams of ginseng and 8 dates. First, put the above-mentioned medicinal materials together and boil them. After boiling, use low heat to simmer them into a thick juice. Then cook them into porridge together with 100 grams of polished rice and an appropriate amount of brown sugar. Take it twice a day, morning and evening, which can effectively improve symptoms.

2. Reduced resistance, obvious fear of wind and cold, particularly sensitive to seasonal changes, and prone to catching a cold if not careful.

3. Poor appetite or loose, unformed stools, frequent chronic diarrhea, especially after staying up late, eating cold food, being tired or catching a cold.

4. Any slight activity, even climbing three floors, will cause you to feel anxious and short of breath. You will also sweat easily and urinate frequently at night.

5. Women may feel listless, short of breath, and even have symptoms of irregular menstruation; while men may suffer from lower back pain, impotence, premature ejaculation, etc.
