People who sit in offices or use computers for long periods of time often experience this situation: their backs always feel stiff and their waists are sore. In particular, some people also feel that their necks make cracking sounds when they move left and right and up and down. This indicates that these people may have cervical spondylosis. Since people keep their necks in one position for a long time, they are prone to this disease. At this time, if you do more neck exercises, the symptoms will be improved to a certain extent. 1. Why does the neck make a sound when it is turned? There are intervertebral discs between the bones of our spine. 80% of the inner surface of the intervertebral discs is water. Due to aging, unreasonable lifestyle, lack of exercise or joint diseases, water loss will occur, the intervertebral discs will shrink, and the friction between the bones will increase. First of all, we need to see if there are any other complications besides the sound when the neck turns, such as headache, dizziness, nausea and other symptoms. If not, it is because of lack of exercise, less lubrication between the joints and greater friction. Secondly, do you feel soreness or pain when you turn your neck? If it is just a feeling of soreness and swelling, it is basically a spinal disease. If it is accompanied by pain and you cannot sleep well at night, it may be a joint disease. Finally, the occurrence of osteoporosis must also be prevented. Many people say that osteoporosis occurs in the legs. In fact, all bones in the body need to pay attention to osteoporosis. When bones become very porous, they may make a snapping sound. 2. Self-traction therapy for cervical spondylosis Place the back of the body against the back of the stool, hold the back of the neck with both hands, cross the fingers of both hands, use the two little fingers to support the upper part of the neck, then slowly tilt the head down, continue to pull for about 10 seconds, and repeat 3 to 5 times. Then turn your neck left and right, try not to move your shoulders, and bring your head as close to your shoulders as possible (based on your personal tolerance), hold for 5 seconds, then switch to the other side and hold for 5 seconds, repeat 10-15 sets. This set of movements can not only treat cervical spondylosis, but also relieve fatigue. 3. Exercise therapy for cervical spondylosis Basic posture: Before doing each training movement, stand naturally, look straight ahead, keep your feet slightly apart, shoulder-width apart, and let your hands hang naturally. Relax your whole body. Bend forward and lean back: Put your hands on your hips, first raise your head and lean back, while inhaling, look up at the sky, stay for a moment; then slowly lower your head towards your chest, while exhaling, look at the ground. When doing this movement, close your mouth and keep your lower jaw as close to your chest as possible. After pausing for a moment, repeat up and down 4 times. Rotate left and right: Put your hands on your hips, first turn your head slowly to the left, inhale into your chest, straighten the right side of your neck, stay for a moment, then slowly turn to the right, exhale, straighten the left side of your neck, stay for a moment. Repeat this alternating pattern 4 times. |
