How to take care of your hair

Everyone loves beauty, and both boys and girls want to look better. As hair is an important factor that affects our appearance, how should we take care of it? When you walk down the street and see other men and women with black and shiny hair, do you feel envious? Are you troubled by your dull, dry and yellow hair? Let’s see if there are any good ways to take care of your hair!

How to care for hair?

1. Combing and washing your hair: It is best to use a wooden comb or an ox horn comb when combing your hair. You can also massage your scalp while combing to enhance the blood supply to the hair roots and the nutrition of the hair. It is advisable to wash your hair 4-7 times a week.

Do not use too hot water to wash your hair. It is advisable to use high-quality shampoo (water) as shampoo products. You can massage while washing. After washing, pat your hair with a thick towel to absorb the remaining water.

It's best to let your hair air dry naturally.

2. Eliminate depression: The deeper the mental depression, the faster the hair loss and graying will occur. Maintain a regular daily life, get enough rest and sleep, and a happy mood can eliminate mental tension and prevent premature graying and hair loss.

3. Pay attention to ventilation: Hair cannot tolerate stuffiness and heat. Wearing a hat or helmet will make the hair stuffy for a long time, which can easily damage the hair. In particular, the pore muscles at the hairline that are compressed by the hat or helmet are prone to relaxation, causing hair loss, so pay attention to the ventilation of hats, helmets, etc.

4. Use soapberry to wash your hair

Chinese people have a very long history of using soapberries to wash their hair. As early as the Qin and Han Dynasties, people used soapberries to wash their hair. It was not until the development of the petrochemical industry in modern times that it was gradually abandoned. However, many shampoos have some medicinal ingredients of soapberries added.

5. Mulberry and hemp hair bath

Hair loss is the most troublesome hair problem. It is recorded in Qianjin Fang that taking 500g each of mulberry leaves and hemp leaves, mixing them with rice wine and boiling them for 10 minutes, and then washing your hair with the water can prevent hair loss with very good results.

6. Chrysanthemum leaves for dandruff

Many people are troubled by dandruff, and using many shampoos cannot effectively solve the problem. Chrysanthemum leaves are a great herbal remedy for dandruff. Specific method: Take half a pound of chrysanthemum leaves (preferably from autumn), boil them in clean water for ten minutes, remove the leaves, wait for the juice to cool, and rinse your hair immediately. On the one hand, it can remove dandruff and also make hair smooth and shiny.

7. Trim the ends of your hair every 6-8 weeks. Although cutting the ends of your hair will affect the overall length of your hair, since the ends of your hair are actually the areas where dryness and splitting are most serious, trimming 0.5-1cm of the ends of your hair every 6-8 weeks (about 40-50 days) can promote better and faster hair growth.

8. Comb your hair once in the morning and evening. You should comb your hair 1-2 times after getting up in the morning or before going to bed at night. Be careful not to use a plastic comb, otherwise it will increase the roughness of the hair. Proper combing of your hair can promote blood circulation in the scalp, stimulate hair follicles and make hair grow faster, but be careful not to comb your hair when it is still wet, as this will cause damage to your scalp. It is best to use a wide-tooth comb to comb your hair.

9. Reduce the number of times you use a hair dryer. By reducing the number of times you use a hair dryer, you will slowly find that your hair grows faster than before. Problems with split ends, dry hair, and even rough hair have also been improved.

10. Massage your scalp with warm essential oil. Pour the essential oil into the palm of your left hand, cover it with your right hand to warm the oil slightly, then rub your hands together and massage evenly. Use your fingertips to gently massage your scalp and you will find that your hair becomes thicker, softer and more shiny.

11. Maintain good eating habits (1) Eat more foods high in protein: eggs, milk, lean meat, beans, fish, shellfish, yeast, etc. (2) Eat more vegetables and fruits: they contain many trace elements necessary for hair quality. (3) Take more vitamin B6 and vitamin E: Vitamins can prevent gray hair and promote hair growth. For example, oatmeal, peanuts and pork liver.

12. Avoid frequent perming and dyeing. Hair is composed of many keratin cells. High temperature and the oxidative effect of chemicals can easily denature these keratin cells, making the hair yellow and dull. Moreover, the perm and hair dye solutions contain alkaline ingredients, which can damage the hair scales on the surface of the hair, leaving the internal structure of the hair unprotected, and ultimately causing the loss of moisture and nutrients in the hair. If things go on like this for a long time, it will hinder the growth of hair. Therefore, if you want your hair to grow faster, you should be careful to avoid frequent perming and dyeing of your hair.

13. Use two different brands of shampoo alternately, wash your hair frequently, maintain good cleaning habits, comb your hair frequently, and comb your hair backwards, which helps blood circulation and growth of the scalp. Massage your head or stand upside down or raise your legs against the wall to accelerate blood circulation to the head and promote hair growth.
