Why do I feel dizzy after waking up

Sleeping is a very happy thing. Everyone spends 2/3 of their life sleeping, which shows that sleep is very important to people. With the increase of life and work pressure, sleeping in has become a luxury. People can only sleep well and improve their sleep quality when they are physically and mentally relaxed. Many people want to know why they feel dizzy after waking up from sleep? Let’s learn more about it~

1. Why do I feel dizzy and nauseous when I wake up in the morning?

Dizziness, the main causes are:

1. Insufficient blood supply to the brain. Mainly, as we age, our cerebral blood vessels gradually harden and become thinner, blood flow decreases, and brain tissue is undernourished;

2. Meniere's syndrome. Mainly inner ear labyrinth edema, balance disorder;

3. Cervical spondylosis. There is often bone hyperplasia in the cervical spine, which can compress cerebral blood vessels, nerves and other related tissues and cause symptoms;

4. Hypertension. Increased blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, spasmodic ischemia of brain tissue or narrowing of blood vessels, insufficient oxygen supply;

5. Cerebral infarction. Before I knew it, the vertigo set in;

6. Anemia. Dizziness due to insufficient blood oxygen supply per unit time;

7. High blood lipids and high blood viscosity.

8. Insomnia, anxiety, fatigue and other reasons may cause dizziness, etc.

2. Dizziness can be divided into three major symptoms.

1. Dizziness - The patient will feel that the surrounding scenery is spinning, and he himself may also be spinning.

2. Top-heavy and light-footed - there is no dizziness, but the head always feels heavy and the feet feel light-footed, and one cannot cheer up.

3. Black before - blurred vision or even temporary loss of consciousness.

Most people who suffer from dizziness will experience nausea, loss of appetite and even vomiting. At this time, you should pay attention to your diet, eat small meals frequently, avoid greasy foods, or take pills before eating, which can help alleviate symptoms.

3. If dizziness persists, exercise is required.

1. If dizziness is severe, you should try to rest in bed, and do it slowly when getting in and out of bed because the balance system needs time to adapt. On the contrary, if the dizziness persists (especially if it lasts for more than a month), you should maintain proper exercise, because if you don’t move much at this time, it will cause the body’s functions to deteriorate and the balance system to become disordered, so you cannot just lie down and do nothing.

2. Get checked if you have dizziness for more than two weeks.

If the problem persists or is severe, you should see a doctor for further examination. Generally speaking, acute dizziness will last for one to two weeks at most and then disappear. If it lasts longer than that, you should see a doctor as soon as possible. Patients usually have to undergo physical examinations of hemoglobin, blood pressure, heart rate, blood sugar, etc., and may even have their hearing tested and a head computer scan done.

4. There are different reasons for dizziness, generally there are the following:

① Middle ear and inner ear diseases - Different ear problems can cause dizziness, such as otitis media, Meniere's disease, etc. Common cold viruses can also invade the inner ear and cause problems, and even lead to vomiting.

②Drug effects - some antihypertensive drugs, heart and diabetes drugs, and even cold sensitivity drugs may have this side effect.

③Arrhythmia - Heart disease causes abnormal oxygen supply to the brain and causes dizziness, among which slow heartbeat has a greater impact.

④ Chronic diseases - If diabetes, bronchial disease, kidney disease, etc. are not well controlled, the above situation (such as low blood sugar) may also occur.

⑤ Anemia - During pregnancy or when women have heavy menstrual flow, the oxygen content in the blood will decrease, causing dizziness.

⑥ High or low blood pressure - high or low blood pressure can affect the brain and cause dizziness
