I believe everyone has drunk wine. It is mainly produced by natural fermentation of grapes in wooden barrels, so the wine has a fruity aroma and sweetness. However, due to different brewing degrees and methods, the taste and color of wine are also different. The best wine will give people a pleasant feeling no matter how it sticks to the glass or how it tastes, while not-so-good wine is often a bit bitter. So how do you make wine at home? Making your own wine is very simple, as follows: ●Step 1: Buy grapes When buying grapes, you can choose some ripe grapes, even if they are scattered. These grapes are easy to ferment and relatively cheap. Common grapes, raisins, and mare's milk can all be used to make wine. ●Step 2: Wash the grapes Since there is a high possibility of pesticide residues on the grape skin, washing the grapes is very important. It is best to wash them one by one, then rinse them repeatedly with tap water, and remove rotten grapes. Some clean-minded people like to peel the grapes before making wine, which is not a bad idea, but it loses some of the nutrients unique to the grape skin. ●Step 3: Dry the grapes Put the grapes in a water-tight container, and add sugar when there are no water droplets on the surface of the grapes. ●Step 4: Select the container The wine jar can be a ceramic jar or a glass bottle, but plastic containers are not recommended because plastic is likely to react chemically with alcohol and produce some toxic substances that are harmful to human health. ●Step 5: Pinch the grapes and put them into the container After washing your hands, pour the white sugar into the grapes and squeeze the grapes with your hands. The method is to grab a handful of grapes and squeeze them hard to break the grapes so that the white sugar can fully penetrate into the grapes. Then put it into a wine jar (the kind of wine bottle used for making medicinal wine will also work). The ratio of grapes to sugar is 10:3, that is, 3 kilograms of sugar for 10 kilograms of grapes (for friends who don’t like sweet food, you can add 2 kilograms of sugar, but you cannot do without sugar, because sugar is an important factor in grape fermentation). ●Step 6: Seal and save Seal the wine jar. If it is a ceramic jar, you can go to a rice wine shop to ask for some wine mud, add water and paste it to seal the mouth. If the bottle is for soaking medicinal wine, make sure to close the bottle cap tightly and then cover the bottle cap with a thin plastic film. After sealing, the wine jar (bottle) needs to be kept in a cool place and do not turn it over or open the lid at will. ●Step 7: Unseal |
