In life, many people like denim clothes very much, because denim clothes are really fashionable when worn, and are more suitable for older people to look younger. Denim clothes are also relatively thick and can resist the cold wind when the weather is cold. Sometimes the newly bought denim clothes have a strong smell, so how to remove the smell of newly bought denim clothes?

Multiple rinses with clean water

If the newly bought jeans have an odor, soak them in warm water for half an hour or an hour. Of course, put some scented soap powder or laundry detergent in the warm water. After cleaning, put them on the balcony to dry. Then you will find that the smell of the pants is not so obvious and there is a fresh scent of laundry detergent.

White vinegar removal method

If your newly bought jeans have an odor, you can soak them in vinegar and wash them before wearing them. This can help remove the odor and reduce the fading of the jeans. Please note that salt and vinegar cannot be used at the same time. Moreover, jeans are not easily hardened by soaking in vinegar.

Lemon deodorizing method

If the newly bought jeans have an odor, you can first soak and wash them in clean water, then hang the jeans in the sun, put the jeans in a packaging bag and put lemon in it, put the jeans in the refrigerator for one night, and finally wash them. You can also use lemon-scented perfume.

Orange peel + soap deodorization method

If your newly bought jeans have an odor, you can put some fresh orange peels in the bag of the jeans and take them out after about a day. Next, put a whole bar of soap and jeans together and seal them in a bag, and the odor will disappear. Principle: Orange removes odor, soap adds fragrance.

Salt water soak

First, soak in salt water. Salt water has the functions of sterilization, disinfection and deodorization, and it can also prevent clothes from fading. Newly bought clothes can be soaked in salt water for 1 to 2 hours. It is normal for slightly dark or brightly colored clothes to fade, but don't soak them for too long. Special reminder: never soak in hot water.

Secondly, after soaking, wash it with clean water and dry it directly without wringing it out. Clothes should be hung in a ventilated and cool place to avoid exposure to sunlight which may cause colored fabrics to fade. When drying clothes, do not dry them right side out, but the reverse side. This will prevent the clothes from being discolored and from turning yellow and hardening.
