1. White wine drunk crab method:

Put the crab in a basin, pour in an appropriate amount of clean water, then add a small amount of white wine and mix evenly. The crab will get drunk and become unconscious after drinking the water containing white wine, and will not have the strength to pinch you no matter how you manipulate it. If you're still not too confident, you can take out the drunk crab and stun it with the back of a spatula. This is foolproof and you can brush it however you want.

2. Warm water crab method:

Put the crab belly up in warm water at about 45 degrees. When it turns over, it will be scalded by the warm water. You can wash it with confidence without getting your hands pinched and it will not affect the delicious taste of the crab.

The most important thing to note about this method is to control the water temperature. If the water temperature is too low, the crabs will not be stunned, while if the water temperature is too high, the crabs' legs will fall off. You can use your hand to test the temperature during the specific operation. If you put your hand inside and it feels a little hot but not too hot, the temperature is just around 45 degrees.
