What to do if mosquito bites are extremely itchy

When the next summer comes, everyone knows that this is a season with a lot of mosquitoes, and you can get bit by a mosquito if you are not careful. After a mosquito bite, a small bump will appear on the skin and there will be a noticeable itchy sensation. If you want to stop this itching feeling, you can use some special methods to relieve the itching, such as rubbing with garlic, rubbing with watermelon peel, applying Huoxiang Zhengqi water, etc.

1. Use sliced garlic. Rubbing the mosquito bite repeatedly for one minute has obvious analgesic, anti-itch and anti-inflammatory effects. Even if the bite has become a large lump or inflamed and ulcerated, you can rub it with garlic. Generally, the inflammation and swelling can be reduced after 12 hours, and the ulcerated wound can heal after 24 hours. People with skin allergies should use it with caution.

2. Repeatedly wipe the mosquito bites with watermelon peel to relieve itching.

3. Take a small amount of Huoxiang Zhengqi water and apply it to the bitten area. After about half an hour, the itching will be reduced or eliminated.

4. Apply a little toothpaste or crushed mint to the bitten area. You will immediately feel cool and comfortable, and the itching will disappear.

5. Take one or two aspirin tablets, grind them into powder, mix them with cold water to make a paste, and apply it to the affected area. It can also relieve or eliminate itching.

6. When drinking porridge, you might as well wait for a few minutes until a thin film forms on the surface of the porridge, and then apply it on the mosquito bite to relieve itching.

7. Apply soap to relieve itching. When a mosquito bites, an organic acid, formic acid, is secreted from its mouthparts. This substance can cause muscle soreness and itching. Soap contains sodium salts of higher fatty acids, which become alkaline after hydrolysis. The alkalinity of soap neutralizes the acidity of formic acid and quickly eliminates the pain and itching. 8. Use laundry detergent to relieve itching. Rinse the bitten area with clean water, do not wipe it dry, then use a wet finger to dip a little detergent and apply it to the bitten area. It can immediately stop itching and the redness and swelling will disappear quickly. After the redness and swelling disappear, you can rinse off the detergent with clean water.

9. If the bite is very itchy, flick it with your fingers first, and then apply floral water, wind oil, etc.

10. Apply or soak the itchy area with salt water, which can soften the swelling and effectively relieve itching.

11. The juice from aloe leaves can be used to relieve itching. If the area becomes red, swollen and itchy after being bitten by a mosquito, you can cut a small piece of aloe vera leaf, wash it, break it apart, and apply it to the red and swollen area a few times to reduce the swelling and relieve the itching.
