1. What is snake gall bladder sore

Herpes zoster, also known as shingles, is caused by the varicella-zoster virus. Most patients with herpes zoster were infected with the varicella virus when they were young. The varicella virus hides in the human nervous system, and when the resistance is low, people will suffer from varicella.

2. Causes

Snake gall bladder sores generally occur in middle-aged and elderly patients. Snake gall bladder sores usually occur in the areas where the intercostal nerves and trigeminal nerves are distributed. That is, it often occurs in the chest, ribs and face. Herpes zoster is caused by the herpes zoster virus. Children who are immune to the virus develop chickenpox when infected. Some patients become carriers of the virus after being infected but do not develop symptoms. Because the virus is neurotropic, it can remain dormant in the neurons of the dorsal root ganglia of the spinal cord for a long time after infection. When the body's resistance is reduced, the virus becomes active and multiplies, triggering shingles.

3. Treatment remedies

1. Add 50 grams of realgar powder to 100 ml of 75% alcohol, mix well and set aside. Apply to the affected area twice a day. If the pain is severe and there are many herpes, add 20 ml of 2% procaine to the medicine. Most patients recover within a week.

2. 60 grams of Platycladus orientalis leaves, 60 grams of rhubarb, 30 grams of Phellodendron chinense, 30 grams of mint, and 30 grams of Eupatorium fortunei. Grind them into fine powder and mix with water and honey to make a paste for external application. It has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, removing blood stasis and relieving pain.

3. Grind 5 parts of Indigo, 5 parts of Phellodendron, 2 parts of Scolopendra, and 1 part of Borneol into fine powder, add sesame oil to make a thin paste, and apply it to the affected area.

4. 15 grams each of realgar, alum, and realgar, 10 grams each of processed frankincense and processed myrrh, and 30 grams of indigo. Grind them into fine powder, pass through a 100-mesh sieve, add 40 ml each of quicklime water supernatant and sesame oil, and mix well. Apply to the affected area to form a scab and keep it moist.

5. 2 parts of realgar, 2 parts of alum, and 3 parts of indigo powder. Grind them into fine powder, add strong tea to make a paste, and apply it to the affected area.
