What to do if you are touched by moth powder

Moth powder is a product used to kill moths. This product can create a good living environment for us, but when using moth powder, there will always be people who accidentally get moth powder. If you accidentally get moth powder on you, if you don't have any allergic symptoms, just wash it off with clean water. However, if you have allergies, you can try the following methods to relieve allergy symptoms.

1. Wash your face with cold water

Wash your face frequently with cold water to increase your skin's resistance. If your skin is not adapted to the condition, you can first use warm water (20℃-30℃), then gradually lower the water temperature, and use a facial cleanser made from natural ingredients or a less irritating soap. It is best to use an anti-allergic facial cleanser such as Fritillaria Soothing Facial Cleanser.

It should be noted that bathing and washing face should be separate. Bath water is too hot and is not suitable for washing your face, the same goes for other skin types, let alone sensitive skin. So be sure to wash them separately.

2. Cold and sun protection

If you are allergic to cold wind and ultraviolet rays, you should protect your skin when going out. For example, wear a cold-proof hat and mask in winter to prevent the cold wind. In summer, you should hold an umbrella or wear a sun hat and apply sunscreen on your facial skin to prevent sunlight exposure, which may aggravate skin allergies.

3. Natural skin care

Use herbal skin care products or homemade fruit and vegetable masks. It is not advisable to use nutritional skin care products and facial masks containing chemical reagents or animal proteins because the skin is prone to allergies. You can refer to what skin care products are good for sensitive skin and make your purchase accordingly.

4. Dietary taboos

You should also pay more attention to what you eat. You must not eat barbecue, no matter how delicious it is, as it can cause great damage to sensitive skin and cause it to become severely dehydrated. Eat less fried foods, and of course it’s best not to eat them, whether they are staple foods or snacks. It is better to avoid spicy food. Also drink less alcohol.

5. Replace skin care products

When using a new skin care product, first apply a small amount on the inside of the forearm or behind the ear. Observe after 48 hours. If local redness, swelling, blisters, itching, etc. appear, it means that the skin is allergic to the product and must not be used. On the contrary, if there is no local reaction, you can use it. It is best not to put on too much makeup or change cosmetics easily.

6. Avoid sauna

People with sensitive skin should absolutely avoid sauna use. Whether it is dry steam or wet steam.
