Meaning of lateral heart rate

Meaning of lateral heart rate

The beating of the heart is the basic condition for maintaining life, because the heart transports blood to every cell in the body through beating, which replenishes the body's health for a long time. However, the ability of the heart varies. Some people have weak hearts and a very high beating frequency, which is the heart rate. The medical community attaches great importance to heart rate, which is an important part of physical examination. Let’s take a look at the significance of heart rate.

Heart rate refers to the frequency of heart beats. Generally, it is described as the number of heart beats per minute.

However, our heart rate is not a stable value. It will change with age, gender, mental state, and external factors. Therefore, there is no such thing as an optimal heart rate. However, when the human body is in a relatively quiet state, the heart rate will maintain a relatively stable value, which can be used as a measure of physical condition.

Generally speaking, people's heart rate when they are at rest is between 60 and 100 beats per minute. However, if someone exercises regularly, their heart rate when they are at rest will be lower than that of ordinary people. The heart rate of professional athletes when they sleep will even be lower than 40 beats per minute.

If your resting heart rate is between 60 and 100 beats per minute and you are not feeling any discomfort, then there is no fundamental difference between a fast or slow heart rate, because a person's resting heart rate is affected by genes. You cannot simply compare good and bad based on your heart rate.

For people who exercise regularly, a heart rate lower than 60 beats per minute is a normal physiological phenomenon because the heart has a strong blood supply function and does not need to beat so many times. There is no need to worry. Some elderly people may have a slow heart rate (less than 50 beats/minute) due to weak heart function. This situation should be a cause for concern. If you often feel dizzy and uncomfortable, you should seek medical attention in time.

Only by understanding your own heart rate data and adjusting your exercise, diet and daily routine according to the heart rate data to keep your heart rate at a normal and stable level can you make your heart healthier and stronger.
