Normal heart rate of a 25-year-old child

The heart rate has a great impact on health. A normal heart rate has a positive effect on the body and life. This is a sign that the body is in a healthy mode. However, in modern life, many people's bodies have undergone some changes. Among them, various diseases and other problems can cause changes in the heart rate and affect health. Let's take a look at what is the normal heart rate of a 25-year-old child?

A normal heart rate for an adult is between 60 and 100 beats per minute, with an average of 75. A heart rate over 100 is considered a fast heart rate, and a heart rate below 60 is considered a slow heart rate. Athletes' height is generally lower, around 50.

It is common for people to have a fast heartbeat or occasionally "skip a beat or two", but for most people, it is not a major sign of abnormal heart structure.

In addition to the medical interview and auscultation, the cardiologist will arrange general electrocardiogram, exercise electrocardiogram, and cardiac ultrasound examinations according to the patient's condition. There are also several special diagnostic tools for patients with variable seizure frequency:

24-hour Holter monitor: This portable electrocardiogram recorder, in addition to recording arrhythmias, now also analyzes heart rate variability, which helps assess the risk of sudden death.

Long-term event recorder (Event monitor): There are wrist type, card type, circuit type, etc. It is the size of a laser disc Walkman and can be worn for several days or even weeks. When an attack occurs, just press the switch immediately to record the abnormal heartbeat. Suitable for patients who do not have daily seizures or whose 24-hour electrocardiogram shows no abnormalities.

Tilt bed test: The patient lies on a special bed tilted at 70 degrees for 20 to 40 minutes, and the heart rate and rhythm, as well as changes in blood pressure, are observed. It is used to diagnose neuropsychogenic syncope and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment.

Electrophysiological examination: This is an invasive examination. It is suitable for patients with severe symptoms, high-risk groups, complex or recurrent arrhythmias. In the cardiac catheterization room, electrodes are placed in the heart through the blood vessels in the groin to record changes in the electrocardiogram and the conduction pathway of the heart rhythm. If necessary, the heart is stimulated to induce arrhythmia in the patient to find out the problem, establish a diagnosis, and provide a basis for treatment.
