How long can a diaper be kept after it is opened

For many parents, in order to take better care of their babies, they will buy a lot of baby products for their babies. In addition to products such as strollers, maternal and child products such as diapers are also something that people will not miss. But for new parents, they are not familiar with the use of diapers at the beginning. For example, few parents know how long a diaper can be left open.

The advent of diapers not only allows babies to have a good sleep at night, but also makes mothers more relaxed and get more adequate rest. Diapers are disposable products and cannot be reused. They must be changed frequently for babies, otherwise diaper rash is likely to occur. Here, mothers want to know how long a diaper can be used?

How long can a diaper last?

Babies continue to grow from birth, and the frequency of diaper changes should gradually decrease. Because newborns have incompletely developed organs, they need to change diapers frequently. Generally speaking, they should be changed every two hours during the day and about every four hours at night. This time can be coordinated with the mothers' feeding schedule. The baby will urinate 15 to 30 minutes after feeding, and this is the most appropriate time to change diapers. The diaper changing schedule can be arranged in this way until the baby is six months old. Even if the child does not soil the diaper, it is recommended to change it every two hours or so, especially in summer when babies sweat more.

In addition to checking whether the baby's diaper is dry before going to bed and changing the diaper after waking up, don't forget to change the baby's diaper to a clean one before taking the baby out. After the baby is six months old, mothers have basically mastered the baby's urination time. In this case, they don't need to use diapers all day long. They can wait until the baby is likely to urinate before using them. This way, the baby's little butt can "breathe" more fresh air. Diapers can be used at night to ensure the baby's quality sleep and allow mothers to get enough rest. This is both economical and environmentally friendly.

Don't ever think that your baby can completely abandon diapers and pee on his own at this time. Babies under 2 years old only have instinctive conditioned reflex and cannot control urination. It seems that in addition to arranging the time for changing baby's diapers reasonably under scientific guidance, it should also be skillfully mastered according to the individual differences of your baby.

The composition of diapers

Modern diapers generally consist of three main parts: the surface covering layer, the absorbent core layer and the base fabric. The surface coating fits closely to the baby's body, which can promote rapid penetration of urine and effectively prevent back-seepage, keeping the surface of the diaper dry.

Surface coating

Diapers on the domestic market basically have a non-woven surface layer. Breathable non-woven fabrics can improve the air permeability inside the diapers, allowing water vapor to flow outside the diapers, discharging moisture and heat in time, effectively reducing the chance of eczema. They are soft, comfortable and do not irritate the skin.

Absorbent core

This layer is mainly capable of capturing and quickly absorbing urine, dispersing urine or diffusing it throughout the core layer by capillary action, and ultimately absorbing and storing urine. The absorbent core layer of diapers on the domestic market is mainly a layered structure composed of pure wood pulp (fluff pulp) and super absorbent resin (SAP).

Base fabric

Many diaper base fabrics abroad have already used non-woven fabrics that feel more comfortable, but due to the high prices, diaper base fabrics in the domestic market are still mainly made of PE film.
