Loose powder shelf life

Loose powder shelf life

In life, many people like to use loose powder, because loose powder has a very good makeup-setting effect, especially in summer. If the face is oily, it is easy for women to take off their makeup. At this time, you can use some loose powder, which can not only control oil, but also effectively set makeup. However, loose powder also has a shelf life. It must be used as soon as possible after opening. So how long is the shelf life of loose powder?

The shelf life of loose powder is generally 2 years, and it should be used within six months after opening.

How to use loose powder:

1. Apply primer and liquid foundation with your fingers. After application, remember to cover your entire cheeks with the palms of your hands. The temperature of your palms can help the base makeup blend better with the skin.

2. Apply a small amount of concealer to the dark areas around the eyes by pressing and smearing. You can use a little pearlescent primer before applying concealer to make the concealer effect more natural.

3. Frequent movement around the mouth can easily cause powder to stick. Apply a small amount of liquid concealer to the dark areas around the mouth, tap gently, and blend it into the skin.

4. Dip a larger powder brush into the powder and lightly sweep it on the lower eyelid, chin, nose bridge, and forehead. It is best to use a professional loose powder brush, which is not only easy to use, but also can better highlight the effect of loose powder.

The shelf life of general loose powder is about 2 to 3 years. Some loose powders containing plant essences contain a small amount of moisture, so they must not be placed in humid places such as the bathroom to avoid breeding of bacteria. If your loose powder clumps, turns gray or green, throw it away without hesitation!
