Oleoresin is a viscous, essential oil-containing resin product made by extracting the aroma and flavor components of spice raw materials as much as possible using appropriate solvents, and then distilling and recovering the solvent. Its main ingredients are: essential oils, spicy ingredients, pigments, resins and some non-volatile oils and polysaccharide compounds. Compared with essential oils, resin essential oils have a richer aroma, a fuller taste, and have antibacterial and antioxidant functions.
