What should I do if I get ringworm on my body

In fact, we all encounter some skin diseases in our lives. Especially some ringworm will appear on the body. So, what should you do if you get ringworm on your body? In fact, there is no need to worry, because many ringworms are caused by seasonal bacterial infections. You can go to the hospital to buy some medicines for application. When winter comes, the ringworm on the body will slowly disappear. While taking the medicine, you can also pay attention to your diet.

1. Do not eat pickled foods. It is generally best for patients with tinea corporis not to eat pickled foods. The diet should be low in salt. This is because salt has the disadvantage of retaining water and sodium aggravating itching and inflammation. Therefore, patients with tinea corporis should not eat too salty food and should pay attention to a light diet.

2. Stay away from irritating foods and fishy foods, because irritating foods can stimulate the taste reflex arc of patients with tinea corporis, causing reactive vasodilation and congestion, which will aggravate skin redness and itching. Foods like chili peppers, alcohol, and strong tea are all taboos for patients with tinea corporis. In addition, fishy foods, such as fish and shrimp, can aggravate skin itching and easily cause inflammation of the affected area. Therefore, patients with tinea corporis should not eat fishy foods such as seafood.

3. It is necessary to properly match meat. Patients with tinea corporis are advised to eat more protein-rich foods such as pork, eggs, milk, etc., and avoid hot foods such as beef, donkey meat, mutton, and various seafood such as various fish, crabs, shrimps, etc. These foods will aggravate the symptoms of skin itching and worsen the condition.

4. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables can increase the absorption of vitamins and minerals in the body and enhance the patient's immunity. Patients can eat more fresh green leafy vegetables such as apples, pears, bananas, oranges, tofu, bitter gourd and other light foods.

5. Use less seasoning preparations. Patients with tinea corporis should avoid using aniseed, prickly ash, pepper, cumin powder, etc. Also be careful to eat less hot pot seasoning and instant noodle seasoning packets.
