For example, pigeon crop inflammation is relatively common. The most effective method for pigeon crop inflammation

(1) Pay attention to heat preservation in the pigeon house, especially in rainy weather, to prevent moisture; do not feed moldy, spoiled and easily fermented feed or health sand, do not feed too much, and ensure sufficient and clean drinking water.

(2) Clean up dirt, dust and cobwebs in the pigeon house in a timely manner, keep the house clean and hygienic, pay attention to the balanced nutrition of the pigeons and improve their resistance.

(3) Methods for treating pigeon cystitis: add 500 g of gentian/50 kg of feed and 500 g of licorice/50 kg of feed to the feed for 3 consecutive days; add baking soda (250 g ~ 300 g / 200 kg of water) to the drinking water for 1 to 2 consecutive days;

There is also a disease called soft crop: this disease is caused by pigeons eating rotten and spoiled feed or drinking sewage. The crop of sick pigeons is swollen and filled with sour, smelly, dirty, and sticky liquid containing chyme. It feels soft and wavy to the touch. They often vomit and have a sour and smelly smell. In severe cases, the crop will rot and the pigeons will die. The crop can be flushed with 1%-2% sodium bicarbonate solution. After flushing, take 2-3 yeast tablets and 2 bezoar anti-inflammatory tablets for 2-3 days.

Symptoms of pigeon cystitis

1. Sclerosis, also known as sac indigestion, is characterized by decreased appetite or loss of appetite, mental atrophy, and a large amount of food accumulating in the sac, causing inflammation. The sac is hard and dry, containing undigested feed. Breeding pigeons are unwilling to be fed milk but feed large amounts of feed, and they have white or green watery feces. The pigeons become emaciated and eventually die of exhaustion.

2. The symptoms of soft chyme disease are depression, dirty feathers, reduced food intake, mucus in the mouth, swollen chyme sacs, and some chyme sacs are drooping and filled with sour, foul and viscous liquid containing chyme. They are soft and wavy to the touch. The pigeons vomit, throw away food, and have a sour and smelly odor. When the pigeons are turned upside down, yellowish-white or yellowish foul-smelling liquid contents mixed with bubbles may flow out of their mouths. The pigeons drink more water and have loose watery stools. In severe cases, the pigeon sacs ulcerate and the pigeons die of emaciation and dehydration. The mortality rate of infected breeding pigeons is low, but the mortality rate of broiler pigeons is high.
