How to make rose perfume

How to make rose perfume

In our lives, many people like the scent of roses, so they buy some rose perfumes. Rose perfumes emit a faint rose scent, and the scent of top-quality perfumes will not dissipate for a long time. Some perfumes even change their scent over time. However, the process of making rose perfumes is indeed troublesome. So how to make rose perfumes?

●Production volume: 50 ml (can be used for 10 days). It can be stored in a snow box for about 1 month.

●Ingredients: 100 grams of rose flowers (about 9 to 10 flowers of average size). 100 ml of mineral water (about one fifth of a 500 ml kettle). The ratio of flowers to water is about 1:1.

●Preparation method: Pick the rose flowers, wash them, drain the water, place them in a clay pot or ceramic container, cook over low heat, stir with a stirrer and observe while cooking, and turn off the heat before boiling.

●After cooling, move to another container, cover with plastic wrap, and leave at room temperature for 2 days. Allow the flower's ingredients to fully extract.

●Filter out the flowers to make rose water. With the above amount, you can make about 50 ml of water, which will become brown water when using pink flowers. When using bright red flowers, make red water. Any color of rose flowers will work, but be careful not to get darker colors on your clothes. If you don't have fresh roses, you can make rose water from dried roses.

Another method that does not require two days of storage

When using freshly picked rose petals that have not been sprayed with pesticides, first put some rose petals into a double-layer pot to half its capacity, and then pour in purified water, mineral water or rainwater. Cover and steam over low heat for one hour. Then, take out the inner barrel and let it cool, then use both hands to squeeze the rose petals to squeeze out all the juice. Strain out the used petals, then add new petals to the bucket and repeat the above process. Once it has cooled again, filter the rose water into a sterilized bottle or jar. Following the above procedure, the rose water you get still has the scent of roses, but not in large quantities. Homemade rose water should keep for 1 to 2 weeks, longer if refrigerated. So you only need to make a small amount each time.
