Lobsters are rich in protein. Eating more lobsters can replenish the body's calcium and protein. Many people like to eat lobster because of its tender meat and high nutritional value. Some people will find some white substance inside the lobster head when eating it. Most people remove the lobster head when they get home and don’t eat it, but some people still eat it. So what is that white stuff inside a lobster head? The white object inside the crayfish's head is protein, rich in high protein, and is used by the lobster when it sheds its exoskeleton. These stone-like objects store calcium for the lobster so that it can grow an exoskeleton after each molting. Since the molting time of lobsters varies from individual to individual, some lobsters have it and some do not. Crayfish have a large head and thorax, a hard, colorful shell, a short abdomen, a body length generally between 20 and 40 centimeters, and a weight of around 0.5 kilograms. They are the largest type of shrimp. The heaviest one can reach over 5 kilograms and is called a lobster tiger. The body is thick and cylindrical, slightly flattened dorsally and ventrally, with a well-developed cephalothorax, thick and with many spines. There is a pair of powerful supraorbital spines in the center of the front edge, and a closed gill chamber. The abdomen is short and thick, the back part is curled toward the ventral side, and the tail fan is wide and short. Lobsters have a hard, segmented exoskeleton. The thorax has five pairs of legs, one or more of which are often transformed into claws, and the claws on one side are usually larger than those on the opposite side. The eyes are located on movable eyestalks. There are two pairs of long antennae. The abdomen is long, with multiple pairs of swimming legs and a fin-shaped tail used for swimming. The flexion of the tail and abdomen can propel the body forward. Calcium stones are used by lobsters when they shed their exoskeletons. These stone-like objects help lobsters store calcium so that they can grow exoskeletons again after each molt. Since the molting time of lobsters varies from individual to individual, some lobsters have them and some do not. Since crayfish grow up eating mud and algae, when you peel off the head shell of the crayfish, you can see the stomach sac that serves as the digestive organ, which is very dirty. In addition, there is a thing in the abdomen that is responsible for breaking down the nutrients delivered by the stomach. Its function is similar to that of the intestines and must also be removed. |
