Si Shen Cong Pain

Si Shen Cong is one of the many acupuncture points in the human body. If you usually have headaches or dizziness, you can relieve them through massage or acupuncture on the Si Shencong acupoint. The Si Shencong acupoint is closely related to the development of the human brain. If the Si Shencong acupoint is painful, it is very likely that there are certain diseases in the human brain. So, what about Si Shencong’s pain?

1. Location

In fact, according to the ancient saying, this acupuncture point is called Shencong. Later generations called it Sishencong because this point is composed of four acupuncture points. It is not difficult to find it. First, we have to start from the Baihui point, locate this place on the top of the head, and then extend 25 mm in the four directions of up, down, left and right. The square formed by the combination is what we call the Shencong point.

2. Efficacy

There are many relevant records in ancient books. "Taiping Shenghui Fang" once wrote: "The four acupoints of Shencong can treat head stroke or dizziness, and are also effective for epilepsy and insanity. Just use acupuncture to penetrate three-tenths of the depth." Of course, this is what was said in ancient times. In fact, in the treatment of modern clinical diseases, it is used to treat cerebrovascular diseases, neurosis, neuropathy, brain hypoplasia, hypertension and neuralgic headaches.

3. What does the pain of Si Shen Cong indicate?

If you want to understand what this sudden pain means, you need to understand the disease it can treat. Everyone knows that it has a good effect on dizziness, insomnia, forgetfulness, epilepsy or cerebrovascular diseases. Therefore, if there is blockage here, it means that there are problems in our body, especially cerebral vascular diseases, because Chinese medicine says: "If it is unobstructed, there will be no pain." That is to say, blockage in this area indicates the arrival of disease.

Combining all the above content, let us have some understanding of acupuncture points such as Si Shencong in the brain. We know that it is close to Baihui and can treat some head-related diseases, such as high blood pressure, insomnia and epilepsy, which are common problems in modern medicine. If you experience pain when acupuncture or touching this area, it means that you have one of the above diseases and need to be treated with appropriate methods as soon as possible.
