Nerve block and anti-inflammatory

If people's bodies become inflamed, most of the time it is caused by bacterial infection, so the inflammation must be treated in time, otherwise it may cause a high fever. People's nerves may also become inflamed. If the inflammation caused by nerve block is not treated in time, it may damage other nerves. There are many ways to treat inflammation. Let's take a look at the methods of nerve block treatment.

The full name of frozen shoulder is shoulder tissue inflammation, which refers to the chronic inflammation of soft tissues such as the shoulder muscles, tendons, bursae and joint capsules. Because it often occurs around the age of 50, it is commonly known as "frozen shoulder". Because the joints are stiff and dysfunctional after the disease, as if they are frozen, it is also called "frozen shoulder". The main symptoms of frozen shoulder are pain around the shoulder joint and limited movement. The specific manifestations are paroxysmal pain in the shoulder joint in the early stage, which gradually develops into continuous pain, which is lighter during the day and heavier at night, and makes it impossible to sleep at night. When there is widespread tenderness in the shoulder joint that radiates to the neck and elbow, varying degrees of deltoid muscle atrophy may also occur.

Over the years, my treatment principle for frozen shoulder is to take appropriate measures according to different periods or different symptoms. The clinical stages of frozen shoulder can be divided into painful stage, freezing stage and recovery stage. The painful stage is the early stage, with an onset time of about 10 to 36 weeks. The patient's pain symptoms are severe, and the treatment is mainly aimed at relieving pain and preventing joint dysfunction. The freezing period is the middle period, which lasts about 4 to 12 months. The patient mainly presents with joint dysfunction, and the treatment focuses on restoring joint movement function. The recovery period is the final stage, which lasts about 5 to 26 months. It focuses on eliminating the patient's residual symptoms. It requires strengthening functional exercises to restore the normal elasticity and contraction function of soft tissues such as the scapular girdle muscles and deltoid muscles that have undergone waste atrophy in the early stage, so as to achieve full recovery and prevent recurrence.

There are many methods for treating periarthritis of the shoulder. Nerve block therapy is an advanced treatment method developed using modern pain diagnosis and treatment that has been highly praised both internationally and domestically in recent years. It mainly involves direct drug injections into the lesions and affected nerves. The selected drugs only require appropriate amounts of anesthetics, hormones, vitamins, etc., which can immediately relieve pain, relax tense muscles, improve blood circulation, and repair pathogenic trauma. For example, the use of suprascapular nerve block and acupoint injection for patients in the pain and freezing stages can highlight the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. If the soft tissue adhesion around the shoulder joint is severe, vigorous massage under anesthesia is used to tear apart the adhesion, combined with physical rehabilitation treatment. Nerve block therapy is an effective method for treating various painful diseases such as frozen shoulder. It is much superior to traditional therapies such as oral analgesics plus massage, hot compress, etc. It can not only quickly relieve pain and inflammation, but also cure painful diseases. Since the opening of the pain department in our hospital, I have cured thousands of patients suffering from periarthritis of the shoulder, cervical vertebra pain, chest and abdominal pain, low back pain, and headache.

It can be seen from this that if frozen shoulder is treated properly, the course of the disease can be shortened and motor function can be restored early. However, prevention is better than cure. According to relevant data, the incidence rate of frozen shoulder in Chinese cities is 8%, and it has been showing a trend of becoming younger in recent years. White-collar workers who type on keyboards in front of computers for a long time are particularly susceptible to wrist-related frozen shoulder. To this end, I suggest taking the following preventive measures: First, combine work and rest and avoid working at a desk for long periods of time. Second, you should pay attention to keeping warm and prevent your shoulder joints from getting cold when you sleep at night. Third, maintain correct lying, sitting, and standing postures and develop good habits. Fourth, avoid using the fan or air conditioner for too long during hot seasons. Fifth, strengthen physical exercise to maintain normal joint flexibility and good functional status.
