How to make your hair dark and thick

Many people hope to have thick and beautiful hair, especially for women, who think that black and shiny hair is the healthiest state. So how can you make your hair black, shiny and thick?

1. Eat more black foods

Black foods have an incredible effect on nourishing the kidneys and blackening hair. You can add appropriate amounts of black foods to your daily diet, such as black beans, black sesame seeds, black mushrooms, black-bone chicken, black grapes, and other foods containing melanin. You can also brew powder ground from black foods, such as grain powder. In addition, eating more iodine-rich foods such as seaweed and kelp can keep your hair shiny and resilient.

2. Develop the habit of going to bed early

In addition to the black foods mentioned above, from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, adequate sleep can prevent hair from turning gray or falling out prematurely, because from 11 pm to 3 am, blood will flow through the liver and gallbladder, and you should go into deep sleep at this time to allow your body to fully rest. Therefore, it's best to go to bed before 11 o'clock, and no later than 11:30 at the latest.

3. Exercise regularly to maintain physical and mental health

Half of the reasons for premature gray hair are due to one’s own psychological pressure. Modern people work under stress, and the pressure is too great without being able to release it well. This can lead to headaches and insomnia in the long run, which naturally affects the nutritional supply of the hair. Therefore, you should relax moderately after working for a period of time. You can stand up and stretch your hands, feet, neck and shoulders. When you feel stressed, you should face it positively and talk to people you trust. Avoid "relieving" stress through smoking and drinking. You should develop a good habit of exercising. The above does not need to be achieved all at once, just persist in doing it step by step.

4. Give your scalp a massage

The massage mentioned here is not the kind when washing your hair, but it is recommended that you comb your hair more often. You can use a wooden comb or a horn comb. Plastic or other combs are prone to static electricity. The teeth of the comb should not be too thin as they can easily damage the hair roots or hair strands. Except in the morning, you can comb your hair more often in your free time to promote blood circulation in the scalp and help the hair absorb nutrients better. Of course, if you don't need to comb your hair, you can also massage your scalp with your fingers, but be careful not to use too much force.

5. Take vitamins appropriately

Studies have shown that a lack of vitamin B12 in the human body may lead to premature aging. If you rely solely on food supplements, the intake is limited. On a normal day, you can buy vitamin B12 or B complex lozenges as a supplement, once a week.
