What to do if thighs are rubbed

Many people feel that their thigh roots are rubbed when they walk, which is very uncomfortable. If it continues for a long time, it will cause numbness or pain in the thigh roots. 1. Non-hormonal anti-inflammatory drugs

It mainly achieves anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins. This type of drug can also increase the stability of lysosomal membranes and reduce the release of enzymes. However, this type of drug can only relieve symptoms but cannot control the progression of the disease. Such drugs include: ① indomethacin; ② aspirin; ③ piroxicam; ④ ibuprofen; ⑤ naproxen; ⑥ flufenamic acid, etc.

2. Relief drugs

Can affect the immune response pathological process of the disease. Such drugs include: ① gold salts; ② penicillamine; ③ chloroquine and its derivatives; ④ levamisole, etc.

3. Adrenal glucocorticoids

The indications for use are: ① When conventional treatment is ineffective, it can be used in combination with first- and second-line drugs. ②Severe extra-articular complications, such as pericarditis, pleurisy, vasculitis and iridocyclitis.

4. Immunosuppressants

Also known as “third-line” drugs. It can be used for patients who are ineffective or have severe reactions to first- and second-line drug treatments. Such drugs include: ① cyclosporine; ② sulfasalazine ③ cyclophosphamide; ④ azathioprine; ⑤ methotrexate, etc.

5. Molecular Immunology

Such drugs include: ① interferon-γ; ② specific antibodies (McAb), etc.

6. Others

For joint pain caused by degeneration, physical therapy and painkillers can temporarily relieve pain, but they cannot change the fundamental problem of cartilage loss.

4. Arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is a new surgical technique that is currently widely used in the examination and treatment of the knee, shoulder, elbow, hip, ankle, and even wrist and interphalangeal joints. Arthroscopic technology causes less damage and has a quick recovery. It can directly observe structural changes within the joint with the naked eye and is more accurate than imaging examinations.

5. Imaging examination

X-ray is one of the routine examination methods for joint diseases. It is mainly used to check the changes in bone quality, especially for bone tumors in the joints, bone destruction, deformities, and joint effusion and swelling, which has obvious diagnostic significance. CT and MRI are also methods for examining joint lesions.
