It is a method of slowly cutting open the anal fistula by using the mechanical compression of a rubber band or corrosive thread. This method also has the advantages of simple operation, less bleeding, convenient dressing change, and no skin incision adhesion before the rubber band falls off.

3. Anal fistula resection

The fistula is incised and all the walls of the fistula are removed down to the healthy tissue. The wound is not sutured. If the wound is large, it can be partially sutured and partially left open, filled with oil gauze, and the wound is allowed to grow from the bottom outward until it heals. Suitable for low-position simple anal fistula.
