Some people will have thick cuticle on their heels due to walking or standing for a long time, which not only affects the appearance, but also causes skin cracks. It can be improved by soaking your feet on time every day. There are some small methods to remove dead skin from the heels. Many people still don’t know what methods are good for removing dead skin from the heels. What are the tips for removing dead skin from the heels? Let’s take a look at it next.

1. Prepare the ingredients

Pumice stone, file, massage cream, V-knife, moisturizer.

2. Steps

1. Soak your feet in hot water for 10-20 minutes to clean and soften dry and hard cuticles.

Suggestion: Adding an appropriate amount of white vinegar to hot water can help soften the cuticle.

2. After soaking, the cuticle will soften and you can rub your heels with pumice stone. Do not use too much force and do not rub for too long, otherwise it may hurt the delicate skin of your feet.

3. If the cuticle is too thick, you can use a file to remove the calluses layer by layer.

Note: Do not use too much force and avoid scraping too deep to injure the delicate skin.

4. For the dead skin on the instep and between the toes, you can choose a massage cream containing particles, and then wash it thoroughly.

5. Use a V-shaped knife to remove dead skin on the edge of the toenail.

6. Apply a thick layer of moisturizer on your feet (preferably one containing vaseline), wrap them with plastic wrap, and put on socks.

Note: The plastic wrap is a bit smooth, so you may not be used to it when you first use it, but the effect is really great.

3. Notes

Foot skin care requires persistence and regular maintenance. You can soak your feet more often and massage them.

4. How to take care of your feet

1. Soak your feet in hot water every night. If conditions permit, it is best to choose a wooden foot basin. The foot soaking time is about 20 minutes. You can add some vinegar to the water to soften the skin of the feet. Then apply foot bath salt on the heels and gently massage for 10 minutes. Bath salt has deep cleansing and anti-inflammatory effects. Dry your feet, apply skin cream, and put on cotton socks for better moisturizing effect.

2. When bathing, after the skin of your feet has softened, use a pumice stone to gently massage your heels to remove the thick stratum corneum. After your feet are dry, apply a smooth moisturizer.
