What are the symptoms of prostate tumors

Prostate tumor is a common disease that occurs in young and middle-aged men. The clinical manifestations and treatment methods of prostate tumor are similar to those of malignant prostate tumor. So, what are the symptoms of prostate tumor? Let us introduce them in detail.

Prostate tumors are common in young and middle-aged men. Prostate tumors can be divided into acute prostate tumors and chronic prostate tumors. Chronic prostate tumors can be divided into three types: bacterial prostate tumors, non-bacterial prostate tumors, and prostate pain. The symptoms of prostate tumors are numerous and vary greatly from person to person. The symptoms of prostate tumors are collectively referred to as prostate tumor syndrome. Prostate tumors, especially chronic prostate tumors, are common diseases in male adults.

1. Local symptoms. Early malignant prostate tumors may not show symptoms, but the occurrence of symptoms is related to the gradual enlargement of the tumor and bladder neck obstruction. What are the symptoms of prostate tumors? More than 75% of patients with malignant prostate tumors may experience symptoms of urinary tract obstruction, such as difficulty urinating, thinning urine flow, slow urine flow, short urine flow range or nocturia. Along with urinary tract obstruction, urinary tract infection and prostate infection may also occur, manifested as frequent urination and urgency.

2. Metastatic symptoms. About 1/20 of patients with malignant prostate tumors are not diagnosed until they have metastatic symptoms. Common metastatic symptoms are lumbosacral pain that radiates to the hips and legs. A mass in the right upper abdomen indicates liver metastasis; a mass above the clavicle indicates lymph node metastasis; and unnamed bone pain indicates bone metastasis. In addition, anemia and weight loss may also occur. Hematuria may also occur in the late stage of the disease, due to urinary tract obstruction and renal dysfunction caused by the tumor. Bone metastasis is particularly important in diagnosis.

The above mainly introduces the symptoms of prostate tumors in detail. I hope it can be helpful to you. If you have other questions, you can come to our hospital for detailed consultation.
