This symptom can be treated with the Chinese patent medicine Yupingfeng Granules or Muli Powder; neurotic urinary frequency can be treated with the Chinese patent medicine Suquan Pills or Sanjin Tablets; gastrointestinal dysfunction can be treated with complex vitamin B solution, pepsin or multi-enzyme tablets; those with sleep disorders can take diazepam (Valium) 5 mg or chlordiazepoxide 10 mg before going to bed; others can be used as appropriate.

Kidney Yin deficiency syndrome: Clinical manifestations include menstrual disorders, shortened menstrual cycle, scanty or heavy menstrual flow, metrorrhagia or metrorrhagia, dizziness, tinnitus, paroxysmal hot cheeks, sweating, sore waist and knees, heel pain, or dry skin, dry mouth and constipation, scanty and yellow urine, red tongue with little coating, and thin and rapid pulse. The prescription generally uses Zuogui Pills and Erzhi Pills. If symptoms such as dry eyes occur, add or subtract Qiju Dihuang Pills; if restless, insomnia, or nightmares occur, add or subtract Baihe Dihuang Decoction or Ganmai Dazao Decoction or Huanglian Ejiao Decoction.

Kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome: Clinical manifestations include heavy menstrual flow, listlessness, sallow complexion, cold pain in the waist and back, clear and long urination, frequent urination at night, or swollen face and limbs, thin white tongue coating, and deep, thready and weak pulse. The prescription is Yougui Pills with modifications.
