However, after decades of research by Harald, it was discovered that HPV is the culprit of cervical cancer.

HPV can be transmitted to women through many ways, but now in other countries, women over the age of teens can prevent the spread of HPV by injecting HPV virus vaccine (cervical cancer vaccine), thereby effectively preventing the occurrence of cervical cancer. Vaccine injections can also be carried out in Taiwan and Hong Kong in my country, but it has not yet been implemented in the mainland.

Therefore, after some women learned that the vaccine can be given in Hong Kong and other places, they wanted to go for the vaccination. However, Xu Aiqiang, a doctor from the Disease Control Expert Committee of the Ministry of Health of my country, pointed out that there are currently two HPV vaccines on the market, and both are produced by foreign companies. They target specific types of HPV virus. There are many types of HPV, and only specific high-risk HPV can cause cervical cancer.

In addition, the American Cancer Society pointed out that the routine immunization age for HPV vaccine is 11 to 12 years old, and the minimum is 9 years old; females aged 13 to 18 who have not been immunized can also be vaccinated, and whether females aged 19 to 26 need to be vaccinated should be measured based on the risk of HPV infection. Vaccination is not recommended for women over 26 years old.

Moreover, the effects after vaccination show that the effect of vaccination for married women is significantly worse than that of younger women. For older women, because there is a risk of repeated HPV infection, it is not a wise choice to receive expensive vaccines.
