Kidney cancer is also known as renal cell carcinoma. According to relevant reports, in the past 20 years, kidney cancer has increased at an average annual rate of about 6%, and the number of cases has doubled. Its growth rate exceeds that of lung cancer. It is the fastest growing tumor in my country. There are many types of kidney tumors, but kidney cancer is the most common, accounting for more than 85% of kidney tumors. The high-risk age is 40 to 65 years old, and there are more men than women. There are three typical symptoms of kidney cancer: (1) Hematuria: It is a common symptom, often manifested as intermittent, painless macroscopic and/or microscopic hematuria. (2) Low back pain: often manifested as persistent dull pain. Severe pain may occur when the tumor has invaded the nerves or lumbar spine. (3) Lump: A lump can be felt in the waist or upper abdomen, but it is often difficult to feel in the early stages of kidney cancer. In addition, people over the age of 50 who experience any of the above symptoms and have unexplained fever or other illnesses should be vigilant. |
