Early clinical manifestations of bladder cancer: 1. Hematuria. About 80% of patients have hematuria, which is the most common symptom at the beginning. It is characterized by painlessness, intermittent, and most cases of hematuria are visible throughout the entire process. It can also be seen at the beginning or end of urination. Some patients may have rotten meat tissue in their hematuria. 2. Bladder irritation and difficulty urinating: 10% to 25% of people experience frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating, which are often confused with cystitis. Sometimes, necrotic tumor tissue falls off, and large amounts of blood clots cause urine retention. 3. When the tumor is located at the ureteral orifice and causes obstruction, hydronephrosis, lumbar pain, kidney swelling, and renal impairment may occur on the affected side. 4. Anemia, cachexia, and suprapubic mass may occur in the late stage. |
