What is the TCM diagnosis of pancreatic cancer

Pancreatic cancer has become a major killer of modern human health and poses a great threat to people. It should be detected and treated early. Some examination methods of Western medicine may cause pain. Traditional Chinese medicine also has many diagnostic methods that can reduce the pain of patients. Here we introduce several types of diagnosis.

There is no record of pancreatic cancer in traditional Chinese medicine, but the clinical manifestations of pancreatic cancer, according to traditional Chinese medicine theory, should belong to the category of "accumulation" and "jaundice", the mutual obstruction of qi, blood, phlegm and dampness, the internal attack of damp heat evil toxins, and the deficiency of qi and yin in the spleen and stomach are the main causes of the disease. According to the different causes and pathologies of pancreatic cancer, different physical conditions, and different main symptoms, traditional Chinese medicine divides pancreatic cancer into the following three types:

1. Qi stagnation and blood stasis type: Specific symptoms include accumulation of lumps in the upper abdomen, which are soft but not hard, bloating and discomfort, and decreased appetite and weight.

2. Phlegm accumulation and blood obstruction type: Specific symptoms are accumulation of lumps in the upper abdomen, which gradually increase in size, pain and hardness that does not move, gradual weight loss, abdominal distension and lack of hunger, nausea and vomiting, yellow body and eyes, and yellow and red urine.

3. Evil poison internal attack type: Specific symptoms include accumulation of lumps in the upper abdomen, which are huge, hard and painful, yellow and red urine, constipation, persistent fever, and yellow body and eyes.

The symptoms of pancreatic cancer also vary according to the location of the disease. The symptoms of pancreatic cancer are easily misdiagnosed, so it is recommended that patients with the following clinical manifestations should consider this disease: progressive obstructive jaundice; unexplained persistent upper abdominal pain and back pain; unexplained weight loss;

Steatorrhea (caused by insufficient pancreatic juice secretion and poor fat digestion); diabetes (symptomatic diabetes due to destruction of pancreatic islet cells).

Through the above description, I believe everyone has a certain understanding of TCM diagnosis. After understanding, everyone should pay attention to it, because early diagnosis of the disease can lead to early recovery. Everyone should also pay attention to physical exercise and their eating habits in daily life, and develop good eating habits.
