What are the mid-stage symptoms of colorectal cancer

Rectal cancer should be treated in time. If the symptoms are not found in the early stage, it will be difficult to treat in the middle or late stage. Generally speaking, early cancer is the best time to be cured, because the cancer cells are not mature. At this time, as long as the correct treatment plan is selected and the treatment is carried out according to the syndrome differentiation, the patient can survive. Today we will analyze the symptoms of mid-stage colorectal cancer.

1. Symptoms of intestinal stenosis Cancer invasion causes intestinal stenosis. Initially, the stool becomes deformed and thinner. When it causes partial intestinal obstruction, there are symptoms of incomplete intestinal obstruction such as abdominal pain, abdominal distension, and hyperactive bowel sounds.

2. Rectal irritation symptoms: frequent urge to defecate, change in bowel habits; feeling of anus falling before defecation, tenesmus, feeling of incomplete defecation, lower abdominal pain in late stage

3. Symptoms of rectal ulceration and infection: blood and mucus on the surface of the stool, or even bloody and purulent stool. The frequency of symptoms is 80%-90% blood in the stool, 60%-70% frequent stool, 40% thin stool, 35% mucous stool, 20% anal pain, 20% tenesmus, and 10% constipation. Cancer invades the prostate and bladder, causing frequent urination, painful urination, and hematuria. Invasion of the presacral nerve may cause severe and persistent pain in the sacral and coccygeal region. In the late stage, liver metastasis may cause ascites, hepatomegaly, jaundice, anemia, weight loss, edema, cachexia, etc.

Most patients with advanced colorectal cancer have already recurred and metastasized, so the chances of surgical removal of the tumor are low. Even if the tumor is removed, it is only a partial removal. In clinical diagnosis, the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer mainly includes radiotherapy and chemotherapy, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and Chinese medicine treatment, and the combination of Chinese and Western medicine is the main treatment.
