What are the nursing issues for liver cancer

The treatment effect of liver cancer in the late stage is not obvious. Strictly speaking, the treatment effect of liver cancer in the middle stage is not very obvious, and the survival rate after treatment is also limited. From this point of view, the postoperative care of liver cancer shows its value. Therefore, we should pay attention to postoperative care. The following is an introduction to the key points of nursing in the late stage of liver cancer:

1. Observation of the condition:

1. Pay attention to vital signs and consciousness status.

2. Observe the regularity of spontaneous pain and tenderness in the upper abdomen, right hypochondrium, and abdomen according to the condition of the disease.

3. If there is massive bleeding or hepatic coma caused by portal hypertension, you should contact a doctor in time for symptomatic treatment.

4. If arterial angiography is performed, pressure should be applied to stop bleeding and the puncture site should be observed for bleeding. Blood pressure and pulse should be measured every 30-60 minutes, and attention should be paid to the formation of hematoma and thrombosis. The pulsation of the dorsalis pedis artery should be observed every hour. During chemotherapy, the side effects of the drugs should be closely observed and the patients should be encouraged to eat.

2. General care:

1. Depending on the condition, it is advisable to rest in bed appropriately so as not to increase the burden on the liver.

2. Ensure protein intake, appropriate amount of fat, and high vitamins.

3. For patients with ascites, salt intake should be 3 to 5g per day; for those with precursors of hepatic coma and hepatic coma, protein intake should be temporarily stopped and sugar should be used as the main intake.

In most cases, treatment of advanced liver cancer has no obvious effect, but the value of life is not so. Even in the late stage, active treatment is recommended if conditions permit, and with postoperative care and conditioning, the chance of survival can be extended. But no matter what, for cancer, prevention is the key.
