What are the treatments for lymphoma

Lymphoma is too common in life. So people tend to ignore it. Lymphoma has a great impact, but if patients with lymphoma do not pay attention to it, their lives will be seriously affected. Lymphoma patients can do the most basic coping work, that is, pay attention to diet. What are the methods for treating lymphoma?

1. Treatment with Chinese medicine. Lymphoma is a systemic disease, which is more in line with the idea of Chinese medicine for treating tumors. The method of Chinese medicine for treating tumors belongs to holistic treatment, and its treatment idea is "suppression and support balance" therapy, which is explained as: using Chinese medicine to strengthen the body's immunity, supplemented by anti-tumor drugs to achieve the purpose of living with tumors. Delaying survival time improves quality of life.

2. Radiotherapy. (1) Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (lymphosarcoma and reticulum cell sarcoma): Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is also sensitive to radiotherapy, but the recurrence rate is high. If the primary lesions of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma are in the tonsils, nasopharynx, or histiocytes of the bones, local radiotherapy can achieve relatively satisfactory long-term remission. (2) Hodgkin's lymphoma: The radiotherapy effect is better than that of lymphosarcoma and reticulum cell sarcoma. During treatment, important organs are protected, skin reactions are mild, and bone marrow suppression may occur. This is also one of the methods for treating lymphoma.

3. Surgical treatment. For patients with intranodal lymphoma, surgery is mainly used for biopsy and pathology or for staged partial abdominal exploration. For extranodal lymphoma originating in the brain, spinal cord, orbit, salivary gland, thyroid, lung, liver, spleen, etc., surgical resection is often performed first, followed by radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy. Lymphoma originating in the kidney, bladder, testicle, ovary, uterus, skin, breast, etc. should be surgically resected at an early stage, followed by chemotherapy or radiotherapy after surgery. These are all methods for treating lymphoma.

The above is an introduction to the treatment of lymphoma. I hope it can be helpful to you. I also hope that patients can choose the treatment method that suits them, actively cooperate with doctors, maintain a good attitude, and have the courage to fight the disease!
