How harmful is brain cancer to the human body?

There are many different types of brain tumors, and people are hard to prevent from this disease in their daily lives. So in order to be able to grasp the treatment of the disease in a timely manner, we need to have comprehensive knowledge of the disease and broaden our horizons. Only in this way can we better prevent and control it. So how harmful is brain cancer to the human body?

1. Due to memory loss, patients often get lost and lose things when going out. Young patients and female patients are prone to accidents. Those with personality and behavior changes may not be understood by their family and colleagues before diagnosis, and are prone to disputes, conflicts and even fights. Some may even commit suicide. Common tumors include glioma, craniopharyngioma, etc.
2. The occurrence of brain tumors has brought pain to many people. Here are the hazards of brain tumors. Mental disorders: It can be caused by progressive increase in intracranial pressure, or it can be the result of compression and destruction of the brain substance by the tumor. The general symptoms in the early stage are more obvious, manifested as apathy, dullness, memory and comprehension impairment, etc. As the intracranial pressure continues to increase, mental symptoms become more obvious, such as dementia, blurred consciousness, changes in personality and behavior, etc. Some are misdiagnosed as mental illness and delayed treatment.
3. The malignant development of brain tumors will destroy the body's immune mechanism, especially malignant tumors and metastatic tumors, which grow aggressively, causing serious damage to normal brain tissue, loss of brain tissue function, and the occurrence of various complications.
4. Tumor bleeding: Patients with small amounts of bleeding may have no symptoms or very mild symptoms. Patients with large amounts of bleeding may have symptoms of high intracranial pressure, hemiplegia, aphasia, and in severe cases, loss of consciousness, brain herniation, or even sudden death.
5. Brain tumors continuously produce a lot of toxins, which cause edema in the body and increase intracranial pressure. Extracellular fluid is retained. Due to damage and disruption of the blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier, a large amount of fluid leaks from the capillaries into the extracellular space, making white matter edema more obvious.
6. The brain is the center of the human body. When the brain is compressed, it will affect the normal activities of various parts of the human body. This is generally seen in benign tumors, but also in malignant tumors. Tumors compress normal brain tissue, causing local ischemia and degeneration, leading to disorders of normal functions.
