What are the methods of TCM to treat laryngeal cancer

The prescription is Qingqi Huatan Pills with modifications: 9g of Gastrodia elata, 6g of Apricot kernel, 20g of Trichosanthes root, 20g of Poria, 15g of Citrus aurantium, 15g of Scutellaria baicalensis, 12g of Citrus reticulata, 9g of processed Pinellia ternata, 9g of Bombyx batryticatus, 30g of Scutellaria barbata, 30g of Hedyotis diffusa, 15g of Trichosanthes kirilowii, 15g of Fritillaria thunbergii, and 3g of Licorice.

(2) Qi and blood stagnation syndrome: The throat swelling is dark red, with an uneven surface and hard texture. The hoarseness is progressively aggravated. There is blood in the sputum, which is dark red and smelly. The tongue is red or has petechiae, and the pulse is thin and wiry. The treatment should be to activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis, and to promote qi and disperse stagnation. The prescription is Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction with modifications: peach kernel 12g, safflower 9g, angelica 12g, Chuanxiong 9g, salvia miltiorrhiza 15g, red peony root 9g, Citrus aurantium 15g, Achyranthes bidentata 20g, bupleurum 12g, Trillium 10g, Curcuma 10g, pangolin 10g, Scutellaria barbata 30g, Hedyotis diffusa 30g, earthworm 10g, Platycodon grandiflorum 9g, and liquorice 6g.

(3) Damp-heat and fire toxicity syndrome: The throat swelling is red, with extensive ulceration on the surface, yellow turbidity and foul smell, yellow turbidity and bloody sputum, severe hoarseness, restlessness, thirst and preference for cold drinks, sore throat, constipation; red tongue with yellow fur, and strong pulse. Treatment should be to clear away heat and relieve fire, and to dry dampness and disperse stagnation. The prescription is Huanglian Jiedu Decoction combined with Longdan Xiegan Decoction: 15g of Coptis chinensis, 15g of Scutellaria baicalensis, 12g of Gardenia jasminoides, 9g of Gentiana scabra, 9g of Akebia chinensis, 12g of Bupleurum chinense, 9g of Alisma orientalis, 30g of Plantago seed (package), 10g of Angelica sinensis, 9g of Paeonia suffruticosa, 30g of Scutellaria barbata, 15g of Psoralea corylifolia, 60g of Smilax glabra, 10g of Amomum villosum, 20g of Chicken gizzard lining, and 15g of Jiao Sanxian each.
