If this is the case, attention should be paid to the prevention of esophageal cancer in postpartum women. To maintain the health of pregnant women after childbirth, attention should be paid to the prevention of postpartum esophageal cancer.

Esophageal cancer is a common digestive tract tumor, with about 300,000 people dying of esophageal cancer each year worldwide. Its incidence and mortality rates vary greatly from country to country. my country is one of the areas with a high incidence of esophageal cancer in the world, with an average of about 150,000 deaths each year. There are more males than females, and the age of onset is mostly over 40 years old. The typical symptom of esophageal cancer is progressive dysphagia, first it is difficult to swallow dry food, then semi-liquid food, and finally water and saliva cannot be swallowed.

1. Protect the esophagus. Drinking hot tea and coffee frequently, and long-term consumption of hot soup and hot porridge will increase the risk of esophageal cancer. Drinking hot beverages can increase the risk of esophageal cancer by 4 times, because hot beverages can cause chronic thermal damage to the esophagus and cause cancer.

2. Avoid eating foods containing carcinogens. Nitrosamines are closely related to esophageal cancer, and mold can enhance the carcinogenic effect of nitrosamines. For example, avoid eating overnight vegetables, rotten fruits, moldy grains, salted fish, bacon and pickled vegetables, as well as fried, deep-fried and grilled foods. Avoid eating "hot, fast, rough and hard" foods. In addition, long-term drinking can also cause cancer. Alcohol contains carcinogens such as nitrosamines and aflatoxin, as well as indirect carcinogens such as aldehydes and alcohols.

3. Reasonable nutrition: Eat enough plant foods in your daily diet, such as vegetables, fruits, cereals and beans, which should account for more than 2/3. Green leafy vegetables, carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes and citrus fruits have a good anti-cancer effect, so you can eat more of them. In addition to vegetables, you should also eat more fresh fruits and drink green tea regularly, which can also effectively prevent cancer.

4. Keep exercising. Pay attention to strengthening physical exercise and enhancing resistance. If you rarely move or only do light activities at work, you should do about 1 hour of brisk walking or similar exercise every day. Maintain a healthy mentality and live a regular life. A regular life can keep the body function in a normal state.

The typical symptom of esophageal cancer is progressive dysphagia, which first makes it difficult to swallow dry food, then semi-fluid food, and finally water and saliva. Patients often spit out mucous sputum, which is the saliva swallowed and the secretions of the esophagus. Patients gradually lose weight, become dehydrated, and become weak. Continuous chest pain or back pain indicates that it is a late symptom, and the cancer has invaded the tissue outside the esophagus. When the inflammatory edema caused by the obstruction of the tumor temporarily subsides, or when part of the tumor falls off, the obstruction symptoms may be temporarily alleviated, which is often mistaken for improvement. If the tumor invades the recurrent laryngeal nerve, hoarseness may occur; if it compresses the cervical sympathetic ganglion, Horner syndrome may occur; if it invades the trachea and bronchi, esophageal, tracheal or bronchial fistulas may form, resulting in severe choking when swallowing water or food, and respiratory infections. Finally, cachexia occurs. If there is metastasis to organs such as the liver and brain, jaundice, abdominal effusion, coma, etc. may occur.

I believe everyone has heard about the harm of esophageal cancer to the human body. There are a large number of esophageal cancer patients in our lives, and their lives and work have been seriously affected. The prevention of postpartum esophageal cancer is what pregnant women have to do.
