Can red wine and garlic be eaten together

Red wine is a common drink in our lives. Authentic red wine is usually made from grapes, and it contains very little alcohol. For women, drinking red wine regularly helps maintain health, but don't be greedy when drinking. We usually eat garlic when we eat, so can garlic and red wine be eaten together?

Garlic can be eaten with wine, the two do not conflict with each other.

Foods that are incompatible with garlic:

Lettuce: Patients with eye diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts should not eat it frequently, otherwise it may damage the liver and eyes.

Mango: Mango should not be eaten with spicy foods such as garlic, otherwise it will harm your health.

Jujube: Eating red dates with garlic can cause indigestion, affect gastrointestinal function, and even cause constipation and other adverse symptoms.

Lamb: Garlic are both warm ingredients. Eating them together can easily make the body hot. They can be used to nourish the body in winter, but eating them in summer can easily cause irritability.

Soju: Garlic and Soju are both spicy and irritating foods. Eating them together can easily cause a sore throat.

Honey: The organic acid in honey will produce a biochemical reaction that is not beneficial to the human body when it meets allicin, and it will irritate the stomach and intestines. The two should not be eaten together.

Dog meat: Dog meat is warming and nourishing, while garlic is spicy. Eating them together will increase fire and damage yin, especially for people with excessive heat and yang.

The main physiological functions of the stomach are: temporarily storing food and digesting food. The process of food passing from the stomach into the small intestine is called gastric emptying. Generally, some of the food begins to be discharged into the duodenum 5 minutes after it enters the stomach. Different foods empty at different speeds, and it usually takes 4-6 hours for a mixed food to be completely emptied from the stomach. Gastric emptying mainly depends on the pressure difference between the two sides of the pylorus (inside the stomach and in the duodenum). Food causes gastric motility during gastric emptying, thereby generating intragastric pressure. When the pressure in the stomach is greater than the pressure in the duodenum, food can be discharged from the stomach. Conversely, the inhibition of gastric motility by duodenal contents slows down gastric emptying. Under pathological conditions, when there is inflammation, reflux, tumors in the stomach and duodenum, or changes in the composition of gastric juice and duodenal fluid, the emptying of the stomach will be delayed, and food will continue to exert pressure on the stomach wall. At the same time, excessive fermentation of food in the stomach produces a large amount of gas, which further increases the pressure in the stomach, resulting in a feeling of fullness and pressure in the upper abdomen, namely bloating. According to TCM theory, stomach bloating is mainly caused by various causes that affect the stomach, causing the stomach qi to be unable to flow normally and descend, and causing qi to stagnate in the stomach. There are five main causes:

1. Cold and dampness invade the human body and block the stomach qi.

2. External dampness and heat disturb the stomach.

3. Improper diet and irregular hunger and fullness will damage the stomach over time.

4. Emotional imbalance, worry, and anger can cause qi to accumulate in the stomach.

5. After gastric surgery, the gastric network is damaged, qi and blood are depleted, and the stomach fails to perform its function.
