The sputum is thick and bloody

It is especially easy to produce phlegm when coughing. For some cases with phlegm, we should actively treat it. The longer the cough lasts, the more serious the disease will be. It is likely to cause bronchial infection, bronchitis, asthma and other diseases. If the cough lasts for more than three months, tuberculosis should be prevented. So what should we do if the phlegm we cough out is thick blood?

Blood in the stool is the main symptom of internal hemorrhoids, and early stage internal hemorrhoids often present with blood in the stool. The characteristic of internal hemorrhoid bleeding is that it occurs during defecation and stops bleeding after defecation, and the bleeding in the stool is often intermittent. The amount of blood is not much, but the blood is bright red, and some only stain the toilet paper. Most patients with internal hemorrhoids bleed dripping when defecating, and very few may have spurting bleeding, and heavy bleeding is occasionally seen. This is mainly because during defecation, feces rub against the raised varicose veins and the effort of defecation increases the blood vessel pressure in the intestines, causing bleeding. It is best to actively consider surgical treatment!

Start with dietary adjustments, keep bowel movements regular, and eat fruit regularly. If it is serious, you can consider going to the hospital for treatment. If there is bleeding in the stool, consider hemorrhoids, ulcers, and gastrointestinal bleeding.

This is the cause of internal hemorrhoids. Clean your genitals, keep your underwear clean, and drink water frequently.

Among the many anorectal diseases, hemorrhoids are not the only ones that can cause blood in the stool. What is the cause of bleeding in the stool? Other anorectal diseases, such as anal fissures, rectal polyps, colon polyps, ulcerative colitis and even rectal cancer can cause symptoms of bleeding in the stool. However, each type of anorectal disease may cause blood in the stool differently in terms of the color of the blood or other symptoms.

1. Hemorrhoids: Blood in the stool usually occurs during or after defecation, in the form of drops or sprays, the blood is bright red, and the blood does not mix with the stool.

2. Anal fissure: Anal fissure causes blood in the stool, which is bright red. There will be blood stains after dripping or wiping with toilet paper, and there will be severe anal pain after defecation.

3. Rectal and colon polyps: bright red blood, painless, blood does not mix with stool.

4. Ulcerative colitis: Bleeding is mixed with mucus or appears as bloody and purulent stools, accompanied by abdominal pain, fever, frequent bowel movements, etc.

5. Rectal cancer: The blood is bright red or dark red and is in the form of drops attached to the surface of the stool. In the late stage, there is often blood and pus in the stool accompanied by symptoms such as anorectal prolapse, weight loss, and changes in bowel habits.
