What are the dietary taboos for colon cancer

In the early stages of colon cancer, there is no difference between patients and normal people, and it is not easy for either others or the patients themselves to detect the condition of colon cancer. However, experts point out that when colon cancer develops to a certain extent, the symptoms of colon cancer will become very obvious. At this critical juncture, we should pay more attention to the dietary issues of colon cancer and regulate our bodies.

What foods should you eat to prevent colon cancer?

Colon cancer is one of the common malignant transformations. We don’t have any good treatment for cancer in our lives, so we must do a good job of prevention as early as possible. According to relevant surveys, calcium foods can prevent colon cancer.

Calcium supplementation can not only improve osteoporosis, but also prevent the occurrence of colorectal cancer. This conclusion is not groundless. Researchers at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York have conducted a survey on people at high risk of colon cancer and rectal cancer and found that if they consciously supplement calcium through diet for 2 to 3 months, the division rate of intestinal cells will slow down and the occurrence of colorectal cancer will be reduced.

Eating more fish reduces risk of colon cancer, study shows

Women who regularly ate soy foods as children had a lower risk of breast cancer, U.S. researchers reported. Another group of researchers told the American Association for Cancer Research that men who ate fish several times a week had a lower risk of colon cancer.

The two studies add to growing evidence of the role of diet in preventing cancer, as cancer experts believe that up to two-thirds of all cancers are caused by unhealthy lifestyles such as smoking, dieting and lack of exercise.

Another study showed that men who ate fish at least five times a week had a 40% lower risk of colon cancer than those who ate fish less than once a week.

Experts remind: Colon cancer patients should communicate more with other patients so that they can have a deeper understanding of the condition of colon cancer. Moreover, communication between patients with the same disease will generally resonate with each other and achieve mutual encouragement, so that patients can be more attentive in the process of treating colon cancer.
