Are the sequelae of bone cancer serious?

For patients with bone cancer, active treatment is the most important thing, but many people tend to ignore the harmfulness of the disease and miss the best time for treatment. Are the sequelae of bone cancer serious? Of course. Bone cancer not only affects the normal life of patients, but also brings huge financial pressure to the patients' families, making many people miserable.

1. First of all, after the disease, the patient's bone health will be seriously damaged, resulting in the patient's inability to carry out normal daily activities. The early symptoms of bone cancer can be divided into benign and malignant. Benign bone cancer is relatively common, while malignant bone cancer is less common. Bone tumors can be divided into primary benign or malignant bone tumors that originate from the bone itself, or metastatic tumors that originate from a certain part of the body (such as from the breast or prostate) and then metastasize to the bone. Most childhood malignant bone cancers are primary, while most adult malignant bone cancers are metastatic. This will cause patients to experience symptoms of bone pain and fractures, seriously interfering with the patient's life and work.

2. After the onset of the disease, the patient will have difficulty sleeping and eating due to the appearance of bone pain, the patient's appetite will continue to decrease, the body will become weak, and even fever, vomiting and other symptoms will occur, which are also manifestations of the harm of bone cancer. Everyone should know that bone pain is a common symptom of bone cancer. Masses and some malignant bone tumors can also cause osteolytic destruction, making the bones fragile. Under very little or no external force, the bones will become brittle.

3. The bone density is different. There are irregular destruction, blurred surface, unclear boundaries, and the lesions mostly start from the epiphyseal end. If these situations occur, you should go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible. If the disease develops to the later stage and metastasis occurs over time, it will not only be difficult to control the disease, but also may cause the loss of precious life.
