Is skin cancer definitely hereditary?

If a family member gets skin cancer, it will bring physical or psychological trauma to the entire family. Due to the lack of clear understanding of the hereditary nature of skin cancer, people live in panic and worry all day long. These are all useless. Only by solving all the questions and understanding the basic issues can you have a healthy life.

Skin cancer is a common multiple malignant tumor in clinical practice and has its own uniqueness. With the increasing number of patients with the disease and the experience of doctors, it can be seen that skin cancer is somewhat hereditary.

According to the clinical symptoms of the disease, skin cancer is divided into three common types. One is malignant melanoma, which is more common in the white race. Although the incidence of this disease is relatively low, it is basically discovered in the late stage and is relatively troublesome to treat, especially for patients with a family history of multiple skin melanomas. The risk of familial genetic disease is increased, and the heritability is also the greatest; the second is squamous cell carcinoma, which is a more malignant skin cancer with a faster development speed. The needle-like manifestations are mostly in the patient's head, neck, limbs, trunk and other parts, but it is not as strong in genetics as melanoma; the third type is basal cell carcinoma, which often occurs in the elderly. The disease develops relatively slowly, the symptoms are not very obvious, and it is relatively less hereditary.

Through the simple understanding of the above content, we can clearly understand that among all types of skin cancer, melanoma has a relatively high heritability and a high recurrence rate, which requires more attention. Heredity is relative. In daily life, we must effectively protect our skin from the sun, try to avoid unnecessary damage to the skin, maintain a good attitude, and have a healthy body.
