How to check for melanoma

How to check for melanoma

Malignant melanoma patients often have malignant transformation of moles on the basis of physical weakness, mainly deficiency of qi and blood or insufficient kidney qi. After a serious illness, or after surgery or chemotherapy, the physical condition becomes even weaker. Therefore, it is particularly important to adjust the diet and strengthen nutrition. The following are the examinations that melanoma patients need to do.

Experts say that the high-risk group for melanin is the middle-aged and elderly, and the incidence rate in men is higher than that in women. The disease sites are mostly concentrated in the patient's lower limbs and feet, followed by the human body's trunk, upper limbs, and head and neck. The routine examination methods for melanoma are as follows:

1. Scleral transillumination test: This method has great value in the identification and diagnosis of melanoma. If there are inflammatory lesions, macular discoid degeneration, choroidal metastatic carcinoma and choroidal hemangioma, light can be transmitted. However, if choroidal melanoma occurs, light will generally not be transmitted.

2. Pigmentogen test: Melanogen is oxidized after being eliminated by the kidneys, and the patient's urine will be dark brown, which is called black urine. If ferric chloride, sulfuric acid, and potassium dichromate are added to black urine, it will promote its oxidation. If sodium nitrate is added, the urine will appear purple. If acetic acid is added first and then sodium chloride is added, the urine will appear blue.

3. Labeling test using Vacca dual PAP immunoenzyme: When the dilution of the antiserum is 1:400, 82.14% of the positive reactions will occur.

The above is an introduction to several methods of melanoma examination. If you want to check for melanoma, you can use the methods introduced above. However, it should be noted that in order to obtain the most accurate test results and prevent misdiagnosis, it is recommended that patients choose a regular, large hospital for examination. If melanoma is confirmed, patients should continue to stay in the hospital for observation and treatment, and should not take medication without authorization to avoid worsening of the condition.
