Where does endometrial cancer metastasize from

Endometrial cancer, also known as uterine body cancer, refers to cancer that occurs in the endometrium, most of which are adenocarcinomas. It is one of the three most common malignant tumors in the female reproductive tract. Some patients with endometrial cancer will find that they will metastasize after the disease. So, what are the common metastatic pathways of endometrial cancer? What should I do if it metastasizes?

The main metastatic pathways are direct spread, lymphatic metastasis, and hematogenous metastasis in the late stage. Below, I will introduce these three metastatic pathways one by one:

Direct spread: At the beginning, the cancer spreads along the endometrium, upward through the uterine horn to the fallopian tube, downward to the cervical canal, and continues to spread to the vagina. It can also infiltrate through the muscle layer to the uterine serosa and extend to the fallopian tube and ovary. It can also be widely implanted in the pelvic peritoneum, rectouterine pouch and greater omentum.

Lymphatic metastasis: It is the main metastatic pathway of endometrial cancer. When the tumor infiltrates into the deep muscle layer, spreads to the cervical canal, or the cancer tissue is poorly differentiated, lymphatic metastasis is likely to occur. Its metastatic pathway is related to the location of the cancer. The cancer at the bottom of the uterus travels along the lymphatic network above the broad ligament, through the pelvic infundibulum ligament to the ovary, and upward to the para-aortic lymph nodes.

Once endometrial cancer metastasizes, it can be said to be very dangerous, and you must go to the hospital for examination in time. So, what should you do if endometrial cancer metastasizes?

When endometrial cancer metastasizes, it is usually in the late stage of cancer. At this time, Chinese medicine is more effective, because patients with late-stage cancer are physically weak due to the large consumption of cancer cells, and most of the cancer cells have metastasized to multiple places. Western medicine local treatment is not effective, and patients cannot tolerate surgery and chemotherapy.

Taking Chinese medicine can comprehensively regulate the internal environment of the body, replenish qi and blood, strengthen the body and eliminate evil, effectively control the disease, relieve pain, and prolong life. It is recommended to use dynamic Chinese medicine treatment.
