X-rays of the abdomen or pelvis of the tumor can confirm the diagnosis if calcified bone tissue is found within the tumor.

3. Ultrasound and CT examination

Ultrasound examination shows that the tumor is solid or partially cystic. CT examination can understand the relationship between the retroperitoneal and sacrococcygeal teratoma and the sacrococcygeal teratoma and the surrounding tissues and organs, which can be used as a reference for estimating surgical resection.
