Teratoma is a common disease in women. It is a type of benign ovarian tumor that can occur at any age, but is more common in middle-aged women. It is usually treated with surgery, and dietary conditioning before and after surgery is also very important. Let's learn about it together.

In terms of diet, experts recommend that patients with ovarian teratoma should eat more coarse grains, garlic, and raw vegetables and fruits after surgery, and try to avoid hormone foods, such as high-fat foods such as McDonald's and KFC. In addition, patients should not eat spicy, greasy and other irritating foods. Female patients should avoid eating warm foods, such as dog meat, mutton, leeks, pepper, etc., and should not drink strong tea, cola, coffee and carbohydrate drinks.

1. Patients with ovarian teratoma should eat more foods that have anti-vulvar tumor and leukoplakia effects, such as sesame, almonds, wheat, barley, wild melon, black-bone chicken, squid, black-banded snake, pig pancreas, chrysanthemum, black plum, peach, litchi, purslane, chicken blood, eel, abalone, crab, horseshoe crab, sardine, clam, and hawksbill turtle.

2. Patients with ovarian teratoma who are in pain should eat horseshoe crab, red snapper, lobster, mussels, sea cucumber, tiger fish, beet, mung bean, radish, and chicken blood.

3. Patients with ovarian teratoma who suffer from itching should eat amaranth, cabbage, mustard greens, taro, kelp, seaweed, chicken blood, snake meat, and pangolin.

4. Patients with ovarian teratoma should eat white fungus, black fungus, shiitake mushroom, hericium erinaceus, chicken gizzard, sea cucumber, coix seed, walnut, crab, skink, and needle fish to enhance physical fitness and prevent metastasis.

5. Patients with ovarian teratoma should avoid smoking, drinking and spicy food. Avoid greasy, fried, moldy and pickled food. Avoid rooster, goose and other irritating foods. When itching is severe, avoid seafood and irritating and allergenic foods. When ulcers and bleeding occur, avoid warm foods, such as mutton, leeks, ginger, pepper, cinnamon, etc.
