Maybe many people have not heard of fibroid disease, but it does not mean that you have not seen it. You may just not pay attention to it. Fibroma is a benign tumor derived from fibrous connective tissue. So today we will learn about the methods of examining fibroids. Fibroma is located in deep tissue, with no obvious subjective symptoms or slight discomfort, slow growth, irregular or oval shape, and its long diameter is consistent with the direction of the affected muscle fibers. The size of the tumor is related to the duration of the disease, with a diameter ranging from several centimeters to more than ten centimeters. The tumor has unclear boundaries, a smooth surface, no tenderness, and is tough like rubber. It is relatively fixed longitudinally to the invaded muscle, but can move slightly laterally and has no adhesion to the skin. Huge tumors can affect activities and compress nerves. Examination items: X-ray, CT, blood routine, B-ultrasound X-ray examination: a shadow with reduced density and scattered calcification spots or flocculent patches within the lesion. Microscopic examination: The tumor contains abundant collagen fibers, the lesion has no capsule, no boundary with the surrounding tissue, and sometimes includes the surrounding tissue in the lesion. Nuclear division is rare, and capillaries and fat cells are rare. A small number of recurrent cases may show morphological changes of fibrosarcoma. The fibroid mass grows slowly and generally has no other symptoms. The surface of the fibroid is normal, and a smooth, movable, round mass can be felt under the skin. It is painless, has clear boundaries, and is hard. Fibroma is composed of well-differentiated subcutaneous connective tissue and is more common in adults aged 40-50. The tumor grows slowly and generally stops growing after it develops to a certain extent. It is a benign tumor and rarely becomes malignant. The treatment is mainly surgical resection. For diseases like fibroids, patients must have confidence in the treatment. As long as they maintain a positive and optimistic attitude, it will be of great help to their recovery. At the same time, we also hope that everyone will go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment, so that they can be responsible for their own health. |
