What are the early symptoms of cervical cancer?

Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers of the female reproductive system. The incidence of cervical cancer in Chinese women is second only to breast cancer. In recent years, the incidence of cervical cancer has been on the rise. Therefore, female friends should not only pay attention to the health of their private parts to prevent cervical cancer, but also be aware of the symptoms of cervical cancer so as to achieve early detection and early treatment. So what are the early symptoms of cervical cancer?

1. One of the early symptoms of cervical cancer: increased vaginal discharge

After suffering from cervical cancer, most patients will experience increased vaginal discharge. This symptom manifests as increased vaginal discharge in the early stages, accompanied by changes in the color and smell of vaginal discharge. If you find abnormal changes in the color and smell of vaginal discharge, serous discharge, or even rice-water-like or watery discharge with a foul odor, you must be alert to the possibility of cervical cancer.

2. The second early symptom of cervical cancer: contact bleeding

When suffering from cervical cancer, patients will experience contact bleeding of the cervix. This symptom mostly occurs during sexual intercourse or gynecological examinations, and occasionally after straining to defecate. Contact bleeding is mostly manifested as drops or streaks of blood mixed in vaginal secretions, mostly dark red. Many patients will mistakenly think that this symptom is caused by trauma when they find it, and do not pay attention to it, thus delaying the disease.

3. The third early symptom of cervical cancer: irregular vaginal bleeding

Irregular vaginal bleeding caused by cervical cancer mostly occurs in postmenopausal women. The most common manifestation is the return of menstruation many years after menopause. Irregular vaginal bleeding in menopausal women is very easy to be confused with normal menstruation, thus delaying the disease. Therefore, menopausal women should pay more attention to regular gynecological examinations to detect hidden diseases in time to avoid delaying treatment.
