What causes pancreatic tumors? There are many causes.

Pancreatic adenocarcinoma is a common digestive malignancy. The disease progresses rapidly, and various treatments are not satisfactory. The prognosis is extremely poor. Therefore, it is called the "king of cancer" and is frightening. If we want to avoid the threat of pancreatic cancer, we need to find the cause of pancreatic cancer and do relevant prevention. So what causes pancreatic adenocarcinoma?

The main causes of pancreatic tumors are:

First, heavy smoking. A large number of studies have found that there is a close connection between pancreatic cancer and smoking. First, smoking can promote the secretion of tobacco-specific N-nitrite, a carcinogen, into the bile duct, which then flows back into the pancreatic duct. Second, tobacco-specific N-nitrite has a specific effect on the organ and can flow into the pancreas with the blood. Finally, smoking increases blood lipid levels and can promote pancreatic tumors.

Second, improper diet. Animal experiments have shown that animals fed with a high-protein, high-fat diet can accelerate the renewal of pancreatic duct cells and increase their sensitivity to carcinogens. Domestic scholars have clearly stated that dietary structure is closely related to the occurrence of pancreatic tumors, and people who eat a lot of meat are more likely to develop pancreatic cancer. Therefore, in daily life, we should plan our diet reasonably and combine meat and vegetables reasonably.

Third, people with diabetes. Studies have shown that insulin can promote the growth of pancreatic cancer cells in vitro or in vivo. High concentrations of insulin can activate the insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor, producing growth-promoting effects including changes in the cell cycle process. Recent studies have also pointed out that the probability of pancreatic tumors in people with diabetes is 1 times that of people without diabetes, and there is a trend of increase.

Fourth, chronic pancreatitis. Chronic pancreatitis often coexists with pancreatic tumors. Since pancreatic cancer can cause pancreatic duct obstruction, thus leading to pancreatitis, it is difficult to determine which is the cause. Some people believe that chronic pancreatitis accompanied by old calcification has a carcinogenic effect on the calcification foci.
